When will my meals arrive?
Porttion delivers meals to your door between 3:30 and 7:30 pm EST on Monday's. All meals are kept refrigerated prior to drop off and come packaged in either a brown, recyclable paper bag or an insulated food bag depending on weather conditions.
Please leave your prior week’s insulated food bag at your doorstep on Sunday afternoon, so that they can be sanitized and reused.
What will I receive?
You will receive the meals you ordered plus an invoice listing your items. Items with a green round sticker indicate the performance size.
What do I do after receiving my meals?
Upon receiving your delivery, refrigerate your Porttion meals as soon as possible.
You can freeze the meals if you choose, however, we always recommend eating them fresh.
If you decide to freeze any of your meals, we recommend thawing them in your refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours for best results.
How do I prepare my meals?
All Porttion meals are fully cooked and ready to eat when delivered! All you have to do is heat them, or you can eat them right from the refrigerator.
Here are our suggestions for heating:
- Microwave: The meals are packaged microwave-safe containers that can easily be recycled. Open the lid slightly and put the container in the microwave. Warm on a high setting for 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes depending on temperature desired.
- Stove top: Transfer contents to a pot or pan, heat over medium-high until desired temperature is reached.
- Conventional oven: Transfer meal to an oven safe dish and heat for 15 minutes at 350 degrees or until desired temperature is reached.
Due to everyone's diverse tastes and nutritional needs, we prepare our meals with limited salt. We use plenty of fresh herbs and spices to give your food that Porttion perfect flavor.
We recommend you sample your foods before adding additional salt, pepper or seasonings. We think you’ll find most of our dishes are perfect as is!
When will I be billed?
All orders are billed at the time of ordering. For each transaction, Porttion generates a detailed receipt. In addition, we send a follow up email confirming your order complete with pricing and delivery address.

What is the best way to get in touch with Porttion?
Customers have several ways to reach us. In addition to our website, customers that need to reach us immediately, can call or text us at 888.833.9776. We generally respond within one (1) hour.
Email can also be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. In general, emails are answered within four (4) hours.
I travel a lot. Can I get my meals delivered outside of Columbus, Ohio?
Yes, we deliver to Columbus, North to Delaware, South to Grove City, West to New Rome and East to New Albany.
We also can ship your meals anywhere in the U.S. for an additional shipping charge. All you need to do is indicate your delivery address and we will follow up by email with the additional cost to deliver.
Where can I get the nutritional value of each item?
We detail the nutritional content of each Porttion food item on the website and on the food container delivered to your home.
How are the meals prepared?
Every meal is made from scratch using fresh, organic ingredients. Our primary ingredients are locally sourced and do not contain GMO’s or preservatives.
How long will they keep for?
Porttion delivered food is good for up to seven (7) days from receipt when refrigerated properly, and up to one (1) month when frozen. For items with a lesser shelf life, we will indicate this on your invoice.
How should I store them?
All meals should be stored in the refrigerator or frozen in the freezer.
Do you have a children’s menu?
We currently offer meals a la carte along with family meals. We are planning to launch our Porttion Kids plan during the summer of 2018.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders placed through our website cannot be cancelled. If you need immediate attention, please contact us by phone or text at 888.833.9776.
Is your food gluten-free and dairy-free?
Porttion makes food with and without gluten and dairy. If you would like your meals prepared gluten-free and/or dairy-free, please add this request to the comment section and we are happy to accommodate.
